Nonlinear modeling and digital predistortion for <scp>HF</scp> transmitters with harmonic cancelation

High frequency (HF) transmitters implemented with the multi-octave power amplifier (PA) are always faced problem of interfering harmonics because nonlinearity PA. In this paper, harmonic cancelation digital predistortion (HC-DPD) scheme is proposed and well discussed to cancel in-band intermodulation distortion (IMD) as out-of-band at same time. With filter-less scheme, bulky lossy filter banks can be removed. Nonlinear models first utilized approximate nonlinear behavior HF PA compared in terms model accuracy. Then, learning architecture, identification, feedback compensation HC-DPD detailed discussed. Finally, a series simulations experiments demonstrated effectiveness linearization algorithms.
